Honest Abe is a 20-minute short film following twelve-year-old history buff, Sam Hanks, through the struggle between childhood imagination and the harsh realities of friendship as he begins his 6th grade year. When Abraham Lincoln appears in Sam’s world, Sam is forced to choose between his disbelieving best friend and his imagination. This coming-of-age story of friendship and acceptance touches both young and old alike.
